Jan R. S. Wolfe is the owner of Dragon Treats and a certified French pastry chef, certified sugar artist, and certified judge. She is a graduate of The French Pastry School in Chicago, Illinois.
After serving 30 years in the United States Air Force, Jan brings a rare combination of discipline, global perspective, and artistic versatility to the field of sugar art. Her international travel and exposure to diverse artistic mediums have significantly shaped her creative and technical approach.
Jan has taught at multiple levels and demonstrated extensively, sharing her expertise with decorators across the industry. Her work has received numerous international awards and has been published in the United States and the United Kingdom. She is also a recognized editor of sugar art publications.
She served as Head Judge of the Sweet Art Master Sugar Show & Cake Competition in 2024, where she helped establish and uphold the competition’s professional judging standards.
In her role as Senior Advisory Judge for Masters Series 2026, Jan supports panel alignment, judging integrity, and the strategic development of evaluation standards.
Her involvement reinforces Masters Series’ commitment to fairness, structure, and international professional excellence.
